With years of experience as a community advocate, public speaker, and personalized coach - I am truly invested in using my gifts and lived experiences to ignite your personal and organizational visions, spark community connections, and support you in achieving your dreams.

From building personal growth, growing your organizational capacity, or helping you launch your business - I got you! 

My personal and professional journey began many years ago.  Unknowingly, it was the trials of my life from a young age that would prepare me for who I am today and sharpen my abilities to connect and empower others.  The resilience, faith, and critical knowledge  I gained from these experiences is not only the foundation for my passion - but provides me with keen insights, an ability to build authentic connections with all those around me, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build a dream.

And, in 2020, it all came together! I got connected with St. Louis Mutual Aid (STLMA), a network of neighbors across St. Louis that formed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Through STLMA, I was activating my superpowers - coaching, organizing, and making connections to truly support the dreams of my community.  At this time, I was also a part of Rung for Women’s leadership development and coaching program.  

From this foundation, I officially launched Becomingcarmen LLC.   And, I have already provided ongoing coaching to a broad range of clientele and partnered with several organizations to create innovative grassroots projects, including the development and implementation of the Community Hub with St. Louis Mutual Aid and Centering the Caregiver.
